All the best to Uncle Ron on his retirement. These photos were all taken during his Farewell Tour on Thursday 30th October 2008, when he was most abley guarded by Uncle John, the other half of The A Team!! On the last trip with a train full of friends they were cheered off from Dalegarth and applauded into Ravenglass. A great day was had by all.

This is the 2nd set of photos from our August 2008 holiday at Ravenglass. There are 2 versions because I couldn't decide which others not to publish. This set includes a few photos from a day trip on the Settle to Carlisle main line with Eliot.

The first of 2 versions of our August 2008 holiday at Ravenglass. Photos include my guard training and my 1st few trips as a passed out guard. I took my test on 20th August which was my Late Grandad Jack's and Great Uncle Keith's birthdays. Uncle Keith Rogers was an active volunteer at the Ratty in the 1960s and 1970s.

Had a brilliant day on a trip to the Isle of Man from Whitehaven aboard Seacat "Emeraude France". During the day we went on the Manx Electric Railway, the Snaefell Mountain Railway and the Isle of Man Steam Railway.

These are photos from my Aug 2003 holiday when the Ellis family decorated River Mite and an open carriage for my eleventh birthday.

Here are some photos of the Rudyard Lake Steam Railway dating back to May 2003. The line is 10.25 inch guage and runs for 1.5 miles alongside Rudyard Lake near Leek Staffs.

Here are 3 photos of my Late Great Uncle Keith's O Guage Northern Rock taken on our kitchen table. I have guessed the date as I am not really sure. The paint came from Ravenglass to ensure a perfect match.
